Changing customer perception, through an enhanced image for D&A.

We have been able to consider the D&A brand holistically, with the aim of growing the business through increased conversion from eye tests to sales. Historically customers trusted D&A with their healthcare but didn’t consider them as a fashion retailer. We actively sought to change customer perception whilst retaining the brands authority in healthcare, promoting a strong attitude towards style and image.

OBJECTIVE

To create a brand environment that showcased product like a fashion retailer. Whilst maintaining authority in healthcare, the introduction of considered merchandising principles, brand communication, materials and a more contemporary design language brought about a higher conversion rate from eye test prescription to frame purchase.

Result

We have been able to effect change across their network by redesigning their brand mark and brand communications, as well as creating a flagship store experience, leading them to become an attractive proposition for Boots.
